Really? Smoke? Good gravy! Yet another reason why MS frightens me. How is it that they can justify this type of hazard? I would never put my house and family at risk for a gaming console.
I used to buy each of the consoles when they released but lately can only dedicate my time to one. I have a PC for games but love to game on the PS4. I chose the PS4 for the remarkable standard that Sony holds for having the most reliable hardware. I have written off the MS products due to 5 dead Xbox 360's. Does that mean I think that the Xbox one is a pile of junk? Nope. It does mean though that for me, the best choice was the one that had great games, great price, and reliable hardware...

Agreed. I for one use the Logitech wirless headset and love it too much to get something else. I had to buy a Toslink-to-RCA adapter to get it to work with the PS4 but for 16 bucks, it was well worth it. It will be nice to see some of the future headsets but for now a cheap fix will work for me.

They are only giving MS a dose of their own medicine from the last gen. MS was run by a bunch of children last gen and they could not go a day without slamming Sony with some stupid slam. Time to own up and take their medicine.

Cool how? That they used off the shelf items or that they put the HDD in a place that you would have to void your warranty out and remove internals to get to it? Do they have a program built into the console so that you can swap out the drive without losing any of the OS or data saved from your games? Doesn't sound that cool if you ask me...

The console version is what you make of it. If you have such trouble not taking trades from dupers then perhaps you need to seek help. So let me get this right, Sony releases the PS3 in North America alone and sells a million console in a day and the XboxOne gets released this week in over 20 countries and is hoping to beat that? I hope they do for their sake! If they don't then they need to rethink their marketing strategy.
It's tough for me to vacate my love for the last gen. Without the BC needed to plunk a PS3 game in the PS4 and play, I have kept that PS3 alive, right next to my shiny new PS4. At the moment, both generations are alive and well but that my friend is a short lived tale to tell.

PS3 was 200 bucks more than the PS4 and sold considerable slower that the PS4. Now, the Xbox One is more expensive than the 360 and they think they will sell more and faster than the 360 did? Even without the reputation MS has with faulty hardware I doubt that it will happen. They might get lucky and sell 200% more but I doubt even that.
